The Ballet Etudes Company along with students of the Academy will be performing in "Sleeping Beauty" at the Westport Playhouse on Saturday. Therefore, please follow the below schedule for that day:
There will be NO OFFICE HOURS on Sat., March 27th.
Pre Ballet- Ballet I- Ballet II classes will all be conducted at their usual times with Miss Emily.
Ballet III-III/A will be held at 11:45 followed by pre-pointe/Beginner pointe at 12:45 with Mr. Mark.
Boys Ballet-Ballet B/C-Company class and B Pointe are cancelled.
ADULT CLASSES WILL BE HELD AS USUAL.
The Ballet Etudes Company returns to the Westport Playhouse on March 27th with a new production of the enchanted fairy-tale ballet, SLEEPING BEAUTY.
This production will feature principal dancers from American Ballet Theatre and a cast of 60 dancers. Danced to Tchaikovsky's magnificent score, this timeless ballet is staged by Christina Fagundes, after Petipa's original choreography. Opulent costumes from the former collection of American Ballet Theatre are complimented by elaborate sets and scenery, contributing to the magic of this delightful ballet. This 90-minute adaptation is "family friendly," for ages 4 and up.
Adult tickets are $35 and include a FREE child's ticket. Additional children's tickets are $17.50 (Special pricing only available by calling or coming to the box office.)
